Dr. Petersen graduated from SUNY Stony Brook in 1976 and received a Bachelors degree in Biology. In 1979, he received his D.D.S. at New York College of Dentistry in New York City. His residency was completed at the Veteran's Administrative Hospital in Chicago. He then went on to practice at Suffolk Dental Center for 24 years. Dr. Petersen loves dentistry as well, he is not only extremely knowledgable but is one of the best at what he does. We are honored that Dr. Petersen is a member of our practice offering many years of experience and expertise to our patients. Dr. Petersen's hobbies are reading and gardening, and he is completely devoted to his family.
